- Initial thoughts about it
- Well written speech
- There’s something about her voice that’s irritating. It has a bubble gum, non-professional tone. It never sounds serious enough. Even when she’s saying consequential, message driven statements it never sounds good or right. It’s hard to listen to her with sincerity.
- It’s not her fault maybe but it seems ditzy.
- Trump was on Truth Social while she was speaking.
- He wrote things like:
- “Too many ‘Thank yous,’ too rapidly said, what’s going on with her?”
- Commented on Roe v. Wade and how everyone (liberals, conservatives) wanted the power given to the states.
- Complained about the border bill:
- “The Border Bill is one of the worst ever written, would have allowed millions of people into our Country, and it’s only a political ploy by her! It legalizes Illegal Immigration, and is a TOTAL DISASTER, WEAK AND INEFFECTIVE! She doesn’t need a Bill. As President, Crooked Joe and her could have just said, “CLOSE THE BORDER!” like I did – I didn’t have a Bill, I didn’t need a Bill. The Border Patrol respected me, they did their job. We had the Safest Border in Recorded History!”
